Why clarification about licensing of vision impairment specialists is needed

Providing licensing for vision impairment specialists was passed in the New York Senate as Bill 4695 and is now waiting to be introduced into the Assembly this upcoming service year 2019-2020 as A.B. 6875.

However, if A.B. 6875 passes in the Assembly, it proposes a threat of infringing on other scopes of practice such as Occupational Therapy.
